Do you sometimes feel as though nobody understands what you are experiencing?

Good news! Someone does understand. The Bible tells us that God is compassionate. He has a sympathetic understanding of what you are going through and he wants to ease your burden and free you from the load you carry. He is dependable. He is always there for you. He will never leave you alone. God’s love has no limit or conditions and never fails, no matter what your circumstances.

You have many challenges to face, but you don’t have to face them alone. Talk to God about your feelings and your fears. As you spend time in the Bible, you will be comforted. You will learn that God is your refuge in your trouble. He offers strength and help. He is ever-present. He cares for you. He wants to carry your anxiety. He will give you peace.

“God is good, a hiding place in tough times. He recognizes and welcomes anyone looking for help, No matter how desperate the trouble.” Nahum 1:7 MSG

Prayer
Lord, thank you for your promise to be with me, no matter what. Thank you for understanding and caring. In Jesus’ name …

Be Blessed, Christie

It’s not Gods fault when bad things happen to good people.

Y’all let me say, sometimes life isn’t fair. Things hit us like a ton of bricks throughout life. We often wonder why God why? There are so many things that we question God about. But the truth is that God wanted us to have a perfect world. Well, you know what happened with that stupid apple. I am so going to pick a bone with her when I get to heaven. 😆 So, now doors were opened to let all kinds of sin in, disaster, heartache, divorce, cancer, just everything. We have to learn; that it’s not God’s fault. We have to stop blaming God and start running to God. He doesn’t want anything wrong happening to any of us. He wants us to know that He is there to help carry us through these dire times. He loves you, adores you, and tells you in Jeremiah 29:11 that He has a hope, and a plan, for your future if you just run to Him and have faith.

Hang in there sweet friends, Gods got this. He has already worked everything out to your good. So now, rest in Him and just wait for your breakthrough, it’s coming.

Love to all, Christie

God is still in the business of helping us overcome.

Morning prayer

Thy right hand, O LORD, is become glorious in power: thy right hand, O LORD, hath dashed in pieces the enemy.

Exodus 15:6

Inspiration

We can never forget how mighty the power of God is. God was able to help the Israelites overcome many battles and enemies that were far greater than them. God is still in the business of helping us overcome all problems and challenges that appear to be bigger than us. They may be bigger than us, but they will never be bigger than God.

Prayer

Dear God, I thank you that I can be at peace in every challenging situation because I know there is nothing that will ever be too big or too much for you. Thank you for power that is always at work in my life. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.

God is the reason you remain strong today!!!🙏🏽

A miracle – good people with kind hearts.

Good Monday morning!!! Have a wonderful day.

“You never know what someone is going through. A few nice words can help a person a lot more than you think. Sometimes miracles are just good people with kind hearts.”

Have a blessed day!
See God in the little things,
I see Him all over this picture.

Father, let me be an example of Jesus.

Father in Heaven, You are the great teacher. You know all and You teach others Your truths. Help me to grow and mature into a good teacher of Your truth. Instill wisdom in me so that as I age others benefit from knowing me. Help me to have character that is worthy of Your calling and reflects Your holiness. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Insanity – doing the same thing over and over again, expecting a different result. Walking though the first step.

No one gets to start in the middle – we’re all beginners in one area of our lives or another. But for most of us, we need a new beginning, a fresh start, a walking journey from chaos to wholeness that is accomplished one step at a time.

Our first step is a big one. We are finally ready to admit that we are powerless to control an addiction or a behavior. The harder we try, the more unmanageable it becomes. Our lives have descended into chaos. When we take that first big step – giving up control – we step away from denial and acknowledge our own needs.

There is hope in that first step, for we can’t be helped until we admit that we need help. We are trying to be God in our own lives, and really, we aren’t up to the task. We are powerless to control much of anything by our own power. If we do this, we find freedom from ourselves.

Father God, today I take that fi4rst important step toward healing and wholeness. I admit to you that I am powerless over the strongholds that have taken over my life. I desperately need your help. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Do you have the symptoms of fear due to the Coronavirus?

Let me just say “WOW” in my lifetime; I have never witnessed anything like this, as I have seen in the past few weeks. As I have watched the news, I have seen firsthand how fear and panic, has gripped the nation more and more each day. I, too, was one of the crazy’s last week that saw everyone buying up food and filled my buggy to the rim out of pure fear. I knew when I went to six different stores and could not find toilet paper; we were in trouble, my poor little mind started going bananas. Just like everyone else, I am concerned because I have a rare lung disease and certainly do not need to catch it, or it could be very devastating for me, sending me into even more panic.

I found myself telling my daughter, “go get food, go get toilet paper, find wipes for the baby.” Then telling my husband, “don’t go anywhere but to work and home, do not pass go, do not collect $200.00 (ha-ha).” I was calling my mom until she was the shopping fanatic online looking for toilet and water for days; I was just making myself crazy. Then, this morning because we could not go to church, we watched it online. The Pastor was sharing a scenario about a man walking by a house and seeing a BEWARE OF DOG sign. The sign made the man instantly have a fear of a big ferocious dog coming out and biting him. But, as he approached the house, a little 4-pound chihuahua runs around the house, wagging his tail happy to see the man, the man then breathes a sigh of relief. The man replied to the owner, “that dog can’t do a thing,” and the owner responded, “no, but the sign can.”

You see, just seeing that sign instilled fear, which is precisely what is happening all around us today. We see a sign by watching the news, looking on Facebook, listening to others, watching others, and their craziness in buying a store out. Then, that fear rolls over on all of us because we see everyone else in a panic, that “beware of dog sign.”

2 Corinthians Chapter 1: 2-11
2 May God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ give you grace and peace. 3 All praise to God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. God is our merciful Father and the source of all comfort. 4 He comforts us in all our troubles so that we can comfort others. When they are troubled, we will be able to give them the same comfort God has given us. 5 For the more we suffer for Christ, the more God will shower us with his comfort through Christ. 6 Even when we are weighed down with troubles, it is for your comfort and salvation! For when we ourselves are comforted, we will certainly comfort you. Then you can patiently endure the same things we suffer. 7 We are confident that as you share in our sufferings, you will also share in the comfort God gives us.
8 We think you ought to know, dear brothers and sisters, about the trouble we went through in the province of Asia. We were crushed and overwhelmed beyond our ability to endure, and we thought we would never live through it. 9 In fact, we expected to die. But as a result, we stopped relying on ourselves and learned to rely only on God, who raises the dead. 10 And he did rescue us from mortal danger, and he will rescue us again. We have placed our confidence in him, and he will continue to rescue us. 11 And you are helping us by praying for us. Then many people will give thanks because God has graciously answered so many prayers for our safety.

We must understand that being “comforted.” It can also mean receiving strength, encouragement, and hope to deal with our troubles. If you are feeling overwhelmed, allow God to comfort you. Our Pastor this morning, shared these four things:

1. Fear breeds fear
2. Fear clouds our judgment (like going and buying out Walmart)
3. Fear re-directs energy
4. Convert fear into faith

I think that is the best advice ever, let’s convert our fear into faith. Do not let the sign CORONAVIRUS shake who we are in Christ. Let Jesus be the bigger story here and in your life, just sit back and watch how He takes care of all of those who believe in Him, and even to those who don’t.

Cling to the scripture, Matthew 6:26
26 Look at the birds. They don’t plant or harvest or store food in barns, for your heavenly Father feeds them. And aren’t you far more valuable to him than they are?

We continue to pray for you and your family,
